Recipe Box: Pan Seared Mahi Mahi


Pan Seared Mahi Mahi 

Serves 4

Ingredients
Butter (3 tbsp)
Lemon juice (1 1/2 tsp)
Minced Garlic (1 tbsp)
Salt (1/4 tsp) plus additional for seasoning
Black pepper (1/4 tsp) plus additional for seasoning
Basil (1 1/2 tbsp)
Olive oil (3 tbsp)
Mahi mahi fillets (4)


Directions
1) Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
2) Season fillets with salt and pepper to taste 
3) Cook fillets for 3 minutes on one side and then turn and cook another 3-4 minutes until fillet is opaque
4) While fillets are cooking - combine butter, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and basil in a medium saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until the butter melts
5) Transfer fillets to plate and spoon butter mixture over
6) Serve and enjoy!
