DIY: Personalized iPhone Case

So I recently upgraded from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5 which meant I had to get a new case for my phone. Ugh!! Well I purchased this awesome case for little to nothing because I really liked the tribal design.

Unfortunately, after less than a month of use the front of the case has started to peel off. So not wanting to throw the case away, what do you do? Revamp it of course! Continue reading to see how I turned this case:

into this case:

Materials needed for this project include: iPhone case, alphabet stickers, acrylic paint, paintbrush, razor/ box cutter, clear coat/ varnish

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Make sure case is clean and free of any dust or residue - I just rubbed the case down with some alcohol
2) Place alphabet stickers on the back of case in the design/ layout of your choice
3) Paint case color of choice with acrylic paint - I used 3 thin coats, let dry
4) Once paint has dried, carefully remove stickers with razor or box cutter
5) Spray case with clear coat or varnish, let dry

And there you have it...easy peasy personalized iPhone case. Until next time, allow inspiration to find you!
